| synopsis (DK) | Langt væk på planeten Pop Star bor en lille rund tingest, som ofte og måske bedst beskrives som en levende skumfidus. Han er kun cirka 20 centimeter høj og ingen ved rigtig hvad han vejer, men blot at han er let nok til at kunne blive båret. Han er lyserød, kan flyve og så har han en umættelig appetit der blandt andet lader ham sluge og absorbere de fjender der måtte stille sig i hans vej - hans navn er Kirby.
Da den kun 19 årige Masahiro Sakurai designede den lyserøde helt tilbage i starten af 90'erne, var der få der troede på at den lyserøde helt ville blive en af Nintendos mest elskede hovedpersoner. Han har dog nu snart 20 års jubilæum og det skal fejres med en laber samling af spil til Nintendos Wii.
