このソフトは、2005年に発売されたニンテンドーDS用のブラザーアクションRPGです。
天才発明家オヤ･マー博士が発明したタイムマシンに乗って、過去のキノコ王国へ行ったピーチ姫。
しかし、戻ってきたタイムマシンはボロボロで、乗っていたのはピーチ姫ではなく謎の宇宙人「ゲドンコ星人」でした。
マリオとルイージはキノコ城に現れたタイムホールへ飛び込み、ピーチ姫を救うため過去の世界へと旅立ちます。
2人は過去の世界で出会ったベビィマリオ、ベビィルイージと力を合わせて冒険をします。
「ブラザーアクション」などで4人が協力すれば、謎を解いたり、ひとりでは進めない道を進んだりすることができます。
バトルでは4人のアクションコマンドを組み合わせた協力アタックが可能です。
さまざまな「ブラザーアイテム」を使えば、より強力な攻撃が繰り出せます。
