Working your way up from shop assistant in a store, you can offer clothing advice and outfits for customers. With each customer having their own style and personality, you need to choose their clothes carefully to make a successful sale. Soon you’ll be the owner of your own store and using your creativity to style the mannequins, dictate the atmosphere by choosing the interior and music, create promotional Mailouts and decide when to hold sales. Each sale brings extra funds into the store enabling you to buy more stock. With invites to Fashion Contests in the Contest Hall appearing regularly in your diary, you can keep up with the latest fashion trends. Visit the Exhibition Hall where you can choose from over 10,000 items from 16 different brands and styles to place in your store in order to create the season’s ‘must-have’ trend. But remember, becoming a boutique owner requires great dedication, careful planning and hard work – get the right stock right otherwise you’ll be out of business. As well as managing your own Nintendo presents: Style Boutique store, you also have a bachelorette pad full of the latest designs – from tartan to tulip skirts and high-top trainers to knee-high boots – spend hours choosing the right outfit whilst changing your hair and make-up to suit your fashion creation. If the myriad of colour palettes in your hair and make-up kit don’t take your fancy, pop to the Hair Salon or Beautician for a make-over. With dozens of hairstyles, hair colours and highlights to choose from, you’ll be able to work the geisha look or go for a cropped pixie cut with ease. As for make-up, not only will you be spoilt for choice with lipstick, eye-shadow and mascara, but you can purchase coloured contact lenses and change the shape of your eyebrows! For inspiration, you can flick through magazines to get the ‘this season’s’ look. With contests of various levels, pit your style savvy against other catwalk contestants for judges to debate and nominate a winner. Comenzarás como dependienta en una tienda en la que podrás ofrecer consejo a tus clientes sobre sus estilismos. Cada cliente tiene sus propios gustos y preferencias, así que tendrás que tenerlos en cuenta a la hora de elegir las prendas que le quieras vender.
Pronto tendrás tu propio establecimiento, en el que utilizar tu creatividad para vestir a los maniquíes, crear ambiente con la música y decoración del interior, escribir folletos promocionales o decidir cuándo realizar rebajas. Con cada venta recaudarás nuevos fondos que te permitirán comprar más prendas.
Las invitaciones regulares a los concursos de moda celebrados en la sala de desfiles te mantendrán al día sobre las últimas tendencias. Visita la central de moda para elegir los modelos que quieres para tu tienda entre las más de 10 000 prendas de las 16 marcas disponibles, y crea con ellos los imprescindibles de la temporada. Ser la propietaria de una boutique exige una gran dedicación, planificación y trabajo duro. Si no te haces con las existencias adecuadas, tu negocio estará perdido.
Además de gestionar tu propia tienda, tendrás una casa llena de los últimos diseños, desde faldas de cuadros y tulipán hasta zapatillas de deporte y botas altas. Pasa horas escogiendo las prendas adecuadas, y cambia tu corte de pelo y tu maquillaje para adaptarlos a los conjuntos que crees.
Si los muchos colores para cambiar tu pelo o tu maquillaje no te convencen del todo, date una vuelta por la peluquería y el salón de belleza. Con las docenas de peinados, tintes y mechas disponibles, podrás cambiar tu "look" y tener un cortísimo corte Pixie o adoptar un estilo geisha. Elke klant heeft zijn eigen stijl en persoonlijkheid, dus moet je goed nadenken over je adviezen om je klanten tevreden te stellen. Al snel kun je ook je eigen winkel openen. Je bepaalt zelf hoe deze winkel wordt ingericht, voorziet de etalagepoppen van je nieuwste producten, kiest de achtergrondmuziek, verstuurt reclamemateriaal en stelt vast wanneer de uitverkoop begint. Elke tevreden klant brengt geld in het laatje en dat geld kun je goed gebruiken om nieuwe collecties aan te schaffen. In je dagboek verschijnen regelmatig uitnodigingen voor modeshows in de Exhibition Hall en deze kun je bezoeken om op de hoogte blijven van de laatste trends in de modewereld. Je kunt voor je collecties kiezen uit meer dan 10.000 voorwerpen van zestien verschillende merken, in de meest uiteenlopende stijlen. Kun jij de ‘must have’-trend van het seizoen creëren? Vergeet niet dat het vak van mode-expert veel toewijding, goede planning en grote inzet vereist. Als je niet zorgt dat je de juiste spullen op voorraad hebt, is het snel gedaan met je winkel. Als je vrienden via draadloze communicatie je winkel bezoeken, kunnen ze door jouw voorraad neuzen om inspiratie op te doen. Zo kunnen jullie ervaringen delen, adviezen uitwisselen, en elkaar desgewenst korting geven. Je kunt natuurlijk ook gewoon lekker gaan shoppen in de collecties van vrienden en andere spelers. Als het royale aanbod aan kapsels en make-up je nog niet genoeg is, kun je ook de kapsalon of schoonheidsspecialist bezoeken voor een make-over.
