Retro arcade influences are front and center, but spiced up with a colorful modern style, a generous helping of sci-fi intrigue, and a dash of RPG ELEMENTS! Don't fight alone! Up to 4 players can battle together, but you'll always have your trusty (AI-controlled) robo-buddies by your side. In Story mode, battle through the labyrinth-like colony as you attempt to shed light on the calamity that has ocurred. Hone your skills in the arena-style Arcade mode. Battle wave after endless wave of the alien horde. Het is 2147 en de menselijke kolonie op Europa heeft het zwaar te verduren gehad. Twee superintelligente robotgeheugens ontwaken en merken dat ze zijn gekoppeld aan twee oude bewakingsdrones. Ze proberen erachter te komen wat er is gebeurd, maar al snel blijkt dat ze alles op alles moeten zetten om te overleven. In deze game vind je robots, lasers, buitenaardse wezens en explosies in overvloed. Retro-invloeden gaan hand in hand met een kleurrijke, moderne stijl, een bloedstollend sciencefiction-avontuur en talloze RPG-elementen. Je staat er niet alleen voor! Maximaal vier spelers kunnen samen de strijd aangaan in de lokale multiplayerstand. Daarnaast kun je sowieso rekenen op de hulp van je vertrouwde, computergestuurde robothelpers. In de verhaalstand moet je jezelf een weg banen door allerlei met de hand vormgegeven levels om uit te zoeken wat er met de kolonie is gebeurd. In de Arcade Mode neem je het op tegen de ene buitenaardse aanvalsgolf na de andere, terwijl je in de Versus Mode tegen drie vrienden of computergestuurde tegenstanders kunt spelen. |
