Het spel is gebaseerd op de tekenfilmserie en biedt geestige, spookachtige actie voor iedereen!
Nadat ze zijn ontsnapt uit de huiveringwekkende nederwereld, is een groep griezelige geesten PacWorld binnengevallen. Ze veroorzaken er een chaos en maken zichzelf niet geliefd. Samen met zijn beste vrienden, Spiral en Cylindria, gaat Pac op weg om PacWorld te bevrijden van de bovennatuurlijke plaag. Hij rent, springt en peuzelt om zich een voor een van zijn vijanden te ontdoen.
Behalve dat hij spoken kan oppeuzelen, kan Pac ze eerst de stuipen op het lijf jagen, zodat hij ze makkelijker te pakken kan krijgen. Bovendien kan hij allerlei krachtbesjes opeten om gebruik te maken van extra vaardigheden. Zo kan hij zijn tegenstanders bevriezen, roosteren en nog véél meer. Vlieg door de pijpen die de gebieden verbinden, lift mee met een zwart spook en bestuur unieke voertuigen in speelhalachtige minigames!
Tussen het spokenjagen door kunnen jij en drie van je vrienden samen een oorspronkelijk spelletje PAC-MAN spelen, en gezamenlijk de rol aannemen van zijn aartsvijanden: Blinky, Inky, Pinky en Clyde.
