Once upon a time, Roo was a happy and peaceful place, sustained by Magical Meteors that fell from the sky. As time passed, some of Roo’s inhabitants (the Meemoos) began to abuse the power of the meteors in the name of greed – plunging the planet into darkness and devastation.
Thankfully, all is not lost. Taking the side of the planet’s good guys – the Roogoo – you hold the power to foil the Meemoo’s corrupt plans by putting to work a combination of quick thinking and quick reflexes.
As Magical Meteors fall to Roo’s surface, your job is to rotate floating land masses with the L and R Buttons of your DS, clearing the way for the meteors to arrive safely. Not only will you have to make sure these floating land masses are aligned correctly to get the Magical Meteors through, you’ll also have to account for obstacles and enemies determined to throw a spanner in the works. As you progress through the game, the meteor blocks will begin to come thick and fast – making the task of saving Roo trickier by the minute!
Roogoo Attack! features over 100 levels to test your puzzle-solving prowess, all set in one of ten colourful 3D environments that span both screens of your DS. And if you’re looking for an extra challenge, there is a way to unlock a range of brand new levels. As well as Roogoo Attack! on DS, there is another game in the Roogoo series available for Wii; Roogoo Twisted Towers. If you own both games, you can wirelessly connect your DS to your Wii to unlock an offering of taxing new puzzles in both games.
Further adding to the longevity of Roogoo Attack! are six different multiplayer modes that invite you to compete against friends even if they don’t own a copy of the game. Whether you compare your meteor manipulation skills in Meemoo Attack, Anvil Attack, Air Mine or one of the other challenges on offer, you’ll have to think even faster than usual to get the best of up to three other opponents.

Un tempo il pianeta Roo era un luogo felice e tranquillo che beneficiava dei poteri magici dei meteoriti che cadevano dal cielo. Purtroppo, parte della popolazione del pianeta, chiamata Roogoo, non seppe resistere alla tentazione di manipolare i poteri dei meteoriti per utilizzarli per scopi malvagi e, così facendo, fecero piombare il pianeta nell'oscurità. Questo gruppo di temuti e crudeli dissidenti divenne quindi noto con il nome di Meemoo.
Ma per fortuna non tutto è perduto. Schierati dalla parte dei "buoni" del pianeta, i Roogoo, e adoperati per mandare a monte i piani malvagi dei Meemoo combinando risoluzione veloce dei puzzle e riflessi fulminei. La tua missione consiste nel riportare la pace sul pianeta guidando vari meteoriti magici di diverse forme attraverso una serie di barriere colorate. Naturalmente i Meemoo non se ne staranno a guardare e faranno di tutto per ostacolare i tuoi tentativi di salvare il pianeta assediato, quindi tieniti pronto a combattere!
Il gioco si sviluppa in 10 ambientazioni diverse con oltre un centinaio di livelli e luoghi come Meemoo City e Roolands. Il gameplay di facile apprendimento ed estremamente intuitivo prevede l'uso del telecomando Wii e del Nunchuk. Ma i puzzle sono tutt'altro che semplici da risolvere: per riuscire a battere il nemico dovrai infatti dar prova di grande concentrazione e riflessi veloci mentre ruoti rapidamente le varie piattaforme, affronti creature volanti ed eviti vari ostacoli.
Se ti sembra un'impresa impossibile, non preoccuparti, non sei obbligato ad affrontare gli ignobili Meemoo tutto solo! Roogoo Twisted Towers include numerose opzioni multiplayer che ti permettono di condividere l'azione frenetica con amici e familiari! Nella modalità campagna cooperativa disponibile durante tutto il gioco potrai risolvere i puzzle e combattere utilizzando reti, martelli e vari upgrade. In modalità “Party Play”, fino a quattro giocatori possono allearsi per partecipare a vari minigiochi e affrontare l'arrivo di spaventosi boss di livello, come il famigerato calamaro gigante!

In Roogoo: Twisted Towers moet je de Magische Meteoren voeden aan de levende wezens van de planeet Roo. Dit doe je door met behulp van drijvende landmassa's de meteoren veilig langs de obstakels te loodsen. Maar hou je vast; de Meemoos laten je niet zomaar begaan. Ze zullen hun kostbare energiebron niet opgeven zonder een gevecht.
Gebruik de Wii Remote en Nunchuk om de levels in Roogoo: Twisted Towers te doorkruisen. In totaal zal je meer dan 100 hersenbrekende levels tegenkomen en enkele grappige eindbazen. Wanneer je de Nintendo Wii versie koppelt aan de Nintendo DS versie van de game, zal je nieuwe levels vrijspelen.
