Verder zul je in het spel op zes verschillende locaties terecht kunnen om te jagen, te weten: Stuttgart (Arkansas), Oacoma (South Dakota), Oak Island (Minnesota), Old Harbor (Alaska), Coldwater (Mississippi) en Halifax (Virginia).
Vier verschillende speelmodi zijn aanwezig in Ultimate Duck Hunting. Er is een Training Mode, een soort minigame waarin je leert hoe je je hond traint. In de Single Hunt score je punten door een bepaald aantal eenden te schieten. De Career Mode laat je dat echte jachtgevoel ervaren. Je maakt eerst je eigen jager en hond. Hierna ga je op jagerspad in verschillende seizoen. Als laatste is er de Multiplayer Mode, waarin twee personen het op een split screen tegen elkaar opnemen.
