Pop to the music with this longtime Japanese favorite that comes to North America for the first time. The Pop'n Rhythm franchise has been welcoming kids to the world of music since 1998. The Wii's motion controls make it easy to play along with entertaining music in eye-catching environments filled with graphics that groove along with the beat. Choose from 14 characters, six stages, and a variety of musical sounds. The game's song list features a combination of original, licensed, and downloadable tracks. Play on your own or move to the music in multiplayer party game modes. Multiple difficulty levels help both beginners and maestros make sweet sounding music.

In Japan ist pop n' rhythm bereits seit Jahren enorm erfolgreich: Mehr als 15 Konsolen-Versionen und eine Vielzahl an Arcade Automaten ist dort bereits erschienen. Mit der Veröffentlichung von pop n' rhythm für Wii erscheint die Serie nun erstmals in Europa.

Das Spielprinzip ist absolut eingängig und fesselt Spieler jeden Alters schon nach kurzer Zeit an die Konsole: Die User bewegen die Wii Remote und Nunchuk Controller nach bestimmten Vorgaben, um verschiedene Melodien zu spielen.

Trotz - oder gerade wegen - dieses einfachen Prinzips lässt pop n' rhythm keinen Spieler mehr los, der erst einmal damit begonnen hat. Dank unterschiedlicher Spielmodi treten die Teilnehmer zudem in unterhaltsamen Wettbewerben gegeneinander an oder spielen gemeinsam mit Freunden. Auch ist es möglich, den Wii Titel individuell mit maßgeschneiderten Sounds, Charakteren und Level Elementen zu bestücken. Die bunten und im Zeichentrickstil gehaltenen Grafiken geben den spaßigen Charakter des Titels perfekt wieder, ebenso wie die ins Spiel integrierbaren Mii Charaktere. pop n' rhythm bietet eine Mischung aus Original Tracks und lizenzierten Songs, die das Spiel auch für Profis zu einer echten Herausforderung machen.
