Zo bereiden de dappere jonge tovenaars zich voor op het gevecht dat hen te wachten staat.
Je moet zelf de leden van Strijders van Perkamentus leger vinden en inlijven. Dit kun je doen in de volgorde waarop jij dat wilt. Je kunt zelf namelijk bepalen waar je heen gaat en wanneer je wat doet. Naast de verhaalmissies bevat de Orde van de Feniks ook allerlei losse missies die je doet voor docenten. Ook moet je lessen volgen en als je dit goed genoeg doet, kun je geheime gebieden vrijspelen. Toverspreuken voer je in deze game uit door de bewegingen te maken met de Wii-afstandsbediening. Als je bijvoorbeeld een object wilt wegduwen met de Depulso-spreuk dan doe je dit door een duwende beweging te maken met de controller.
