Your enemies are plotting to revive Zaggart, “The Dark One,” who was sealed beneath the six continents of Mistral. It’s up to Landis, descendant of the heroic Dyu, to stop them. Choose the order in which to attack the six stages.
Before each stage, select one of four magic armors and use crystals you’ve collected during your battles to buy items. Selecting the right armor for each stage is the key to your ultimate victory. Then get ready to face awesome enemies like a fire-spewing sea serpent or a giant insect.

Diese haben sich zusammengetan, um "Zaggart den Dunklen", der inmitten der sechs Länder von Mistral eingesperrt wurde, zu befreien. Es liegt an "Landis", dem Nachfahren des großen "Dyu", ihnen Einhalt zu gebieten.
In welcher Reihenfolge du die sechs Länder angreifst, kannst du selbst entscheiden. Wähle vor jedem Level eine von vier magischen Rüstungen und nutze gesammelte Kristalle, um hilfreiche Gegenstände zu kaufen. Die Wahl der richtigen Rüstung für das entsprechende Land ist der Schlüssel zum Erfolg.
Du wirst auf Furcht erregende Gegner treffen, wie etwa eine Feuer speiende Seeschlange oder ein gigantisches Insekt. Schieße dich rasant durch das gegnerische Gebiet und brich in das Schloss der feindlichen Herrscher ein - und Lords of Thunder wird dich nicht mehr loslassen!

Je vijanden willen The Dark One, Zaggart, die opgesloten is onder de zes continenten van Mistral, tot leven wekken. Het is jou, Landis, nazaat van Dyu, om ze te stoppen.
Je kunt zelf de volgorde kiezen waarin je de 6 levels aanpakt. Voordat je aan een level begint, kies je een van de vier magische wapenuitrustingen en gebruik je je verzamelde kristallen om voorwerpen te kopen. Het kiezen van de juiste wapenuitrusting is cruciaal. Neem het op tegen vijanden, zoals een vuurspugende zeeslang en een gigantisch insect.
Of je nu op een razend tempo aan het knallen bent of het kasteel van een eindbaas probeert binnen te sluipen, de intensiteit van Lords of Thunder zal je omverblazen.
