Il capolavoro di Shigeru Miyamoto ha introdotto molti elementi che sarebbero diventati caratteristici della serie, inoltre la colonna sonora scritta da Koji Kondo è una delle più memorabili della sua carriera. Tutto ciò ha reso A Link to the Past un vero classico Nintendo.

Shigeru Miyamoto’s meesterwerk introduceerde veel elementen die tot vaste onderdelen van de serie zouden uitgroeien, en Koji Kondo’s prachtige soundtrack is een hoogtepunt uit zijn carrière. Daarmee werd A Link to the Past een echte Nintendo-klassieker.
