「Ｘ ( クロス ) オーダーシステム」は、画面右下に各キャラクターの順序とライフゲージが表示されていて、戦況により行動順序が変化するぞ！これを素早く見極め行動することで、戦況を有利に進めることが出来る！WE(武器エネルギー)が溜まると発動可能になる必殺技「アクショントリガー」は、コントローラーの操作によって、攻撃力が劇的に変化する強力な必殺技！ロックマンＸシリーズではおなじみの「チャージショット」もアクショントリガーで再現！一撃必殺の痛快操作が楽しめる！！

エックスのチャージショットであれば、【Ａ】ボタン溜め後、離して発射！
ゼロのコマンドアーツは、格闘ゲームのようなコマンド入力で 強力な乱舞技が発動できる！
そして・・・
攻撃には、メインウエポンとサブウエポンが存在し、連携攻撃が可能。
一定以上のダメージを与えると超強力な必殺攻撃「ファイナルストライク」を発動することが出来る。
