Find something interesting? Toss your cap at it and see what happens! There are lots of fun and surprising ways to interact with your surroundings.
Be sure to bring any coins you find to a Crazy Cap store, where you can exchange them for decorative souvenirs for the Odyssey and new outfits for Mario! Some destinations have very exclusive dress codes, after all…
Hand a Joy-Con™ controller to a friend to enjoy simultaneous multiplayer: Player 1 controls Mario while Player 2 controls Mario's new ally Cappy.

Super Mario Odyssey est un jeu de plates-formes dans lequel le joueur contrôle Mario qui doit parcourir différents royaumes grâce à son ballon nommé l'Odyssée afin de sauver Peach. Dans les différents royaumes, Mario doit récupérer quelques lunes de puissance afin de restaurer la puissance du ballon et parcourir le monde entier à la poursuite de Bowser.

Bowser enlève Peach pour se marier avec elle. Mario rencontre une créature ressemblant à un chapeau, un Chapiforme, portant le nom de Cappy. Bowser a aussi enlevé sa sœur, Tiara. Mario et Cappy récupèrent un vaisseau abandonné, l'Odyssée, et voyagent de pays en pays à la poursuite de Bowser. Dans la majorité des mondes, ils doivent combattre les Broodals, une bande de lapins anthropomorphiques organisateurs de mariage qui essaie de les empêcher de rattraper Bowser et d'arrêter le mariage.

Drei neue amiibo-Figuren (separat erhältlich) – Mario, Prinzessin Peach und Bowser in ihren Hochzeitsoutfits – erscheinen gleichzeitig mit dem Spiel. Einige bereits erschienene amiibo werden auch mit diesem Titel kompatibel sein. Unterstützte amiibo lassen sich scannen, um Hilfe im Spiel zu erhalten. Einige amiibo schalten außerdem Kostüme für Mario frei, wenn du sie scannst!

Ballonjagd

Ab sofort gibt es ein kostenloses* Update für Super Mario Odyssey! Wenn du das Update heruntergeladen und das Hauptspiel durchgespielt hast, kannst du online an der Ballonjagd teilnehmen.

Sprich mit Luigi und schon kannst du online in zwei Modi antreten! Beim Ballonverstecken hast du 30 Sekunden Zeit, um einen Ballon zu verstecken. Bei der Ballonsuche werden die Rollen getauscht und du hast 30 Sekunden, um die Ballons zu finden, die Spieler auf der ganzen Welt versteckt haben.

Wenn du die Ballons anderer Spieler findest und dir ausgefallene, knifflige Verstecke für deine eigenen Ballons ausdenkst, steigst du in der Rangliste auf. Wer viele Punkte sammeln will, muss also jeden Winkel der Länder wie seine Westentasche kennen, um Ballons besonders schnell finden und verstecken zu können … Fast wie eine Art „Speedrun“, nur mit einer Aufgabe!

Außerdem kannst du dich auf neue Kostüme und Filter für den Schnappschuss-Modus freuen.
