Resembling snowflakes,
Marine-Crystal plankton float on water
in clusters of 35. When touched, they
spin and produce vibrant sounds, and
grow in size if they are tapped
repeatedly. They are born in one of
four geometric shapes: triangle,
square, pentagon and hexagon; and
their tone changes depending on their
shape.
Use Performance mode to create

Iwai, les Electroplankton sont
d'étranges créatures aquatiques que
vous allez utiliser comme des
instruments afin de produire toutes
sortes de sons et d'images... Laissez

Les Marine-Crystals flottent à la
surface de l'eau par groupes de 35.
Lorsqu'on les touche, ils se mettent à
tournoyer et à produire des sons
vibrants. Si on les touche de façon
répétée, ils grandissent. Ils peuvent
avoir quatre formes différentes:
triangle, carré, pentagone et
hexagone. Le ton du son produit
change selon la forme du
Marine-Crystal.

Die kleinen Electroplankton-Tierchen,
kreiert vom japanischen
Medienkünstler Toshio Iwai, sind
lebendige Instrumente, mit denen du
auf unterschiedlichste Art und Weise
interagieren und eine Vielzahl an
Klängen frei nach deinen Ideen
erzeugen kannst.
Das Marine-Crystals-Plankton ähnelt
in seiner Form einer Schneeflocke und
taucht stets in Gruppen von 35
Tierchen auf. Wenn du es berührst,
dreht es sich und erzeugt vibrierende
Geräusche, wobei jede der vier
unterschiedlichen Typen andere
Klänge absondert. Das Plankton
wächst, wenn du es mehrmals schnell
hintereinander berührst.
Komponiere deine eigenen kreativen
Melodien im Aufführungsmodus, oder
lasse dir von den Plankton-Tierchen
im Zuhörermodus etwas vorspielen.

«instrumentos» acuáticos con vida
propia con los que tienes que
interactuar para producir una variedad

Este plancton con forma de cristales
de nieve flota en el agua en grupos de
35. Si reciben un estímulo exterior,
los Marine-Crystals giran y emiten
sonidos vibrantes, y su tamaño
aumenta si se les toca repetidamente.
Existen cuatro variedades, todas ellas
poligonales: triángulo, cuadrado,
pentágono y hexágono. El tono que
emiten varía según su forma.
Utiliza el modo Actuación para crear
tus propias composiciones originales o
relájate con el modo Público y deja
que el electroplancton improvise.

I Marine-Crystals, simili a cristalli di
neve, fluttuano nell'acqua a gruppi di
35 esemplari. Quando li tocchi
iniziano a girare ed emettono dei
suoni vibranti, e se li tocchi
ripetutamente diventano più grandi.
Hanno quattro forme: triangolo,
quadrato, pentagono ed esagono, e
ognuna produce un suono diverso!
Scegli la modalità Artista per
comporre le tue melodie oppure
rilassati in modalità Spettatore
lasciando che gli Electroplankton si
sbizzarriscano da soli.
