| synopsis (ZHTW) | 本作是1992年發售、Super NES用軟體『The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past』的續作，描繪同樣世界的遙遠未來的「The Legend of Zelda」系列最新作。
基本是由在『The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past』登場的Hyrule平原(海拉魯平原)、同樣的地形及位置關係所構成。
雖然是承襲『The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past』的地形，但本作是描述『The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past』之後的新「The Legend of Zelda」。在傳承了『The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past』傳說的Hyrule王國(海拉魯王國)裡，在鍛冶店當實習的Link(林克)，因突如其來的契機而捲入一件重大的事件裡。迷宮和解謎當然煥然一新。遊戲活用了高低差的迷宮構造，變得像畫的迷宮衍生了以前薩爾達沒有的新解謎要素。
