Mankind uses missiles to successfully change the comet's course but the comet then crashes into the moon.
In order to inspect the damage, probes travel to the enormous lunar crater, created by the impact of the comet. What they discover is not traces of a comet, but a gigantic mother ship.
From Earth to the deepest part of the crater, blast your way through all 6 SCENES in order to protect the planet from the aliens.
Avoid enemy attacks and fight your way to the boss at the end of each SCENE.
Attack the bosses' weak points to destroy them and clear the SCENE.
After clearing a SCENE, you will receive a bonus depending on the number of enemies destroyed.
